It’s Monday, no, it’s EVERY
Monday and there is that one person who always seems to look bright eyed and
bushy tailed and full of laughs and #selfies to show from their “AWESOME”
weekend. How in the H.E. double hockey sticks can someone always be that happy
and relaxed after the weekend? What are they doing differently than you? Are
they drinking something, taking something, belong to some super secret society
of awesome? What is it?
The answers are really
simple and what they do every weekend you actually can learn how to do too. I
asked some professional R&R (Rest and Relaxers) how the rest of us can come
in on Monday and be ready to take on the week like champs. Here are some of
their guidelines for the weekend:
·
Plan
your weekend by Wednesday night, make it
your deadline. It’s exciting deciding what you want to do and you know that
you must decided by Wednesday. After Wednesday the anticipation for the fun you
get to have for the weekend makes the rest of the days go by faster.
·
Always have a steady couple, group or individual back up plan. Plans can be
altered by weather, emergencies and life sometimes so always have a solid “B”
plan.
·
Take back your weekend. If your using your
weekend for everybody but yourself than your still working. Even if all you can
squeeze out of it is an hour, make it the most awesome one hour of your entire
weekend (no sleeping either).
·
Plan group activities with friends or
family. Do something new or something you love that you haven’t done in a long
time. If you are going out with friends out
of the box group activities make for some great memories. Feeling happy makes you feel free, free people
love life differently, where there is love there is peace.
·
Under no circumstance think about work or
hang out with co-workers on the weekend. Work is work and your time is YOU
time. Leave work and workers at work (unless they were your bestie before you all started to work there).
Monday rolls around pretty
quick, how do you want to start yours? Comment below with what you plan to do
this weekend!
