Why Some People Almost Always Are Relaxed After the Weekend

It’s Monday, no, it’s EVERY Monday and there is that one person who always seems to look bright eyed and bushy tailed and full of laughs and #selfies to show from their “AWESOME” weekend. How in the H.E. double hockey sticks can someone always be that happy and relaxed after the weekend? What are they doing differently than you? Are they drinking something, taking something, belong to some super secret society of awesome? What is it?

The answers are really simple and what they do every weekend you actually can learn how to do too. I asked some professional R&R (Rest and Relaxers) how the rest of us can come in on Monday and be ready to take on the week like champs. Here are some of their guidelines for the weekend:
·        Plan your weekend by Wednesday night, make it your deadline. It’s exciting deciding what you want to do and you know that you must decided by Wednesday. After Wednesday the anticipation for the fun you get to have for the weekend makes the rest of the days go by faster.

·        Always have a steady couple, group or individual back up plan. Plans can be altered by weather, emergencies and life sometimes so always have a solid “B” plan.

·        Take back your weekend. If your using your weekend for everybody but yourself than your still working. Even if all you can squeeze out of it is an hour, make it the most awesome one hour of your entire weekend (no sleeping either).

·        Plan group activities with friends or family. Do something new or something you love that you haven’t done in a long time. If you are going out with friends out of the box group activities make for some great memories. Feeling happy makes you feel free, free people love life differently, where there is love there is peace.

·        Under no circumstance think about work or hang out with co-workers on the weekend. Work is work and your time is YOU time. Leave work and workers at work (unless they were your bestie before you all started to work there).

Monday rolls around pretty quick, how do you want to start yours? Comment below with what you plan to do this weekend!

If You’re Not Doing These 6 Things You May Lack Self-Control

Learning self-control, for some of us is like mastering a fly kill with a pair of chopsticks, dang near impossible and frustrating. So, I did a little research for you to help shorten the learning curve a bit (sorry, but I've got nothing for the fly and chopsticks trick) and activate the practice self-control and maybe master yourself.

People that have fantastic self-control:

1)   Make their mental, physical and financial health their priority. They know within a sound body is a sound mind.

2)   Create and stick to a schedule that is not counterproductive to their time. They know how to delegate tasks to people they trust to maintain time management.

3)   Are masters of their emotions not slaves to them. Because they do try to maintain their health and time, the ability to handle circumstances in a level headed manner comes naturally.

4)   Think about their reactions. They know for every action is a reaction, but the reactions don’t have to be knee jerk ones. This makes them better decision makers and strong leaders.

5)   Understand that words give things power and watch what they say. The law of reciprocity works for words as well as actions.

6)   They are good stewards over money and things they are responsible for.

Because they understand money is a tool they manage it and use it wisely.
So, now my dear grasshoppers, much work is to be done. Are you up for strengthening your mind and exercising self-control? I hope so and I pray you adopt these 6 skills and improve this area of your life and maybe catch a fly or two along the way! SAYONARA (goodbye)!

Do You Recognize the 7 Early Warning Signs of Quitting Your Job?

We all know the old adage, “Quitters never win and winners never quit,” or the encouragement poem “Don’t Quit,” but let’s get grounded for a couple of paragraphs here…Working a job you hate is called stress but working one you love is called purpose. Here are 7 early warning signs that you are headed to the keyboard to type up that letter of resignation.

1.   Clocking into work or back in from breaks has become a chore and exhausting.

2.   You get things done when you get them done. Tasks are no longer a priority.

3.   Carelessness and errors start to increase.

4.   You secretly work on, think about or talk about what you really wish you were doing…a lot, your passion.

5.   Bathroom breaks become mini vacations.

6.   When or if you get sick, it’s harder and longer for you to recover.

7.   You wake up every morning dreading to go into work.

If you are experiencing these early warning signs of job fatigue, I prescribe a healthy dose of re-evaluation of your life and an exit plan to sever ties with the stress in your life. Happiness outweighs everything. So if you’re not productive or operating at your full potential it can equal empty pockets and worse and empty life.

Secrets to Better Rest in Hotels

Staying in a hotel, especially if it is longer than two nights, can sometimes leave the most experienced traveler feeling a little weary for their own bed at times. I once went out of town for two long weeks for work and learned how to cope with my detachment issues I had with my beloved bed. Here are a few tips to help you fall asleep like a newborn baby in any hotel, motel, Holiday... well, you know the rest!
  • Don't break your nightly routine from home.  Try to stick as close to it as possible. If you drink or eat, read, write or play something, pack it.
  • If you can, bring the pillow from your bed, providing there is packing space, or the pillowcase from the pillow you sleep on at home.  It's not only the texture of the case, but the familiar scent that will remind your sleepy thoughts of home and will allow you to fall asleep quicker.
  • Use the same shower or bath soap and towel that you would at home.
  • Leave the TV on or use your phone for music or install an app with sleepy sounds that will help you fall asleep faster.
  • Sleep on the same side of the bed as you would at home. Muscle memory allows us to repeat the same motions and habits.
  • Most importantly, don't forget to kiss the wife or husband, the kids or someone that you love. You can do this by adding or using any video messaging system on your phone, laptop or tablet.
Extended overnight sleeps in hotels can now be the highlight of your trip if you decide to try any or all of the tips listed. Do you have any other neat ideas that you would like to share that help you fall asleep quick in unfamiliar places? Share below!

5 Thing You Should Do Every Morning and Night

Five things you should do every morning and night growing up my grandmother seem to have a special remedy or procedure for everything under the sun some of her homemade solutions were borderline weapons of mass destruction and others were borderline genius she ran a tight ship at our house and was as consistent with morning and nightly routines as the sun setting and the moon rising every morning and night she barked the same orders in the best long loud run-on sentence she could find and these orders I am about to share with you we're so genius then I don't think she knew how beneficial it was to us as children and even more so as adults Here are the five things you should consider doing every morning.

1.       Wash your face at night to get rid of all the days’ pollutants and in the morning to wash away any facial crust excess oil and to wake you up.

2.       Brush your teeth and rinse your mouth out at night of course to clean them but to prevent germs from invading your gums overnight from stains traveling deeper into your teeth stamping their passports along the way in the morning to maintain all of the work you put into them the night before.

3.       Drink a glass of water at night to give your body a way to neutralize any unpleasant on-goings inside of your body and to help the body prep itself for the morning flush. In the morning, an ice cold 8 ounce glass of water wakes up the organs stimulates your mood and curbs the need for caffeine.

4.       Smile for one minute at night to introduce the happy endorphin hormones making sweet dreams really sweet (you can change tomorrow by changing the way you feel now). In the morning to harvest those same hormones to get your day started on the right foot.

5.       Stand naked in the mirror she actually told us to dry off in our mirrors to make sure we didn't miss any dirt or have anything mysterious on our bodies for you at night and morning it gives you the opportunity to evaluated your body as well but it also gives you the time to admire except and fall in love with yourself in a healthy way.

These five things are super easy to remember and beneficial to your mental and physical health my entire family is proof of this consistent routine and I hope yours can benefit from it as well so in true Granny Polly fashion don't forget to wash your face brush your teeth drink a glass of water smile to yourself and check yourself in the mirror before you lay down or before you head out the door

The Most Fun Date Night Idea...Ever

Break the date night monotony by bringing back play-dates for adults. Whether it’s just you and your honey or a group of couples breaking out old school children’s games, a night of nostalgia can create an incredibly fun and memorable date night for anyone.

Not sure where to start? Well, any fun play date starts with an invite. Send out a cute mass text or email blast to all of your friends or sound the horn on your favorite social networking site with all the play-date particulars. Short on games? Ask during the invite and be sure to include pictures of the games you are still looking for. One of my friends has started a “toy chest” that is full of games that gets passed from house to house depending on who is in charge of the play-date that month. He used www.amazon.com to for all of the old school game needs. The coolest was, at his door he had a big pink piggy bank that said “change only” on it and that is what he used to purchase any additional games that were requested by friends to be added to the chest...I'll fist pump to that!

Here are some yester-year favorites to help you plan the perfect play-date or to collect for the “toy chest.”
  •  Operation
  •  Perfection
  •   Simon
  •   Don’t Break the Ice
  •  Connect 4
  •    Jenga
  •  Rock’em Sock’em
  • Let’s Go Fishing(great for Tourney Play)
  • Uno
  • I Declare War
  • Go-Fish
  • Old Maid
  • Hi-Lo
  •  Speed
  • 21
  •  Guess Who(or any matching game)
  •  Carpet Checkers
  • Shot-Glass Checkers(Same Concept, the more you jump the more you drink)
  •  Monopoly
  • Trouble
  • Sorry
  • Mousetrap
  •  Life
  • Clue
  •  Battleship
  • Boggle
  • Yahtzee
  • Twister
  • Name That Tune with a Kazoo(oriental trading link)
  •   Hungry, Hungry Hippos
  • Win, Lose or Draw(Have a host, record it and Upload to YouTube)
  • Hangman
  • Night-time Red-Rover
  • Hide-n-Seek
  • Hop-scotch
  • Glo-n-the-dark Yard Polo, Yard darts or Horseshoes

Create an online leader board, if the play-dates start to grow. You could also give awards like the Hungriest Hippo or The Most Successful “Operation” doctor.

A date is never complete without food and drink. Have snacks, candy and food reminiscent of your childhood. Plug in the Easy Bake ovens for miniature baked goodies and put an adult twist on Snoopy Sno Cones by adding a splash of your favorite liquor in a Martini glass.

As you can see there are many ways you can make your adult play-date make you feel 12 again and full of excitement. You get to create new bonds with your mate and friends. Even better, meet new people, kick-start a new relationship and it’s a great way to introduce a new boy/girl friend to your friends.

What are some games or food you enjoyed as a kid that would have at your play-date?

The Best Work from Home Jobs Website

Everyone is trying to make a dollar online, nowadays.  Some of us are legitimately looking for online work doing everything we can to supplement our incomes; others are doing everything illegally to scam us to supplement their incomes!  Most working people have been advised to incorporate more than one form of income streaming in from various beneficial sources.  However, the dilemma most of us face is how we are trading our extra time and labor away from home to create those multiple streams of income. For this reason, many are turning to the world of work-from-home jobs.

I personally have been a part of the droves of internet searchers that have tried, failed and spent money on what seemed like the best work-from-home jobs on the web and ended up frustrated and discouraged. For all we know, there are people that do work from home and make good money, but no one is ever willing to give up the goods on how to obtain these jobs. During one of my late night YouTube scrolling for online job ideas, I found the Workersonboard Channel and watched her videos on work-from-home jobs. There was something different about her; she reminded me of myself. The main difference was that she didn't get discouraged. She got determined to go through as many work-from-home jobs as she could with a goal of helping other like-minded people that wanted to obtain time, freedom and finances to supplement their household income. At the end of the video she gave out her website that she created as a result of her research.
www.workersonboard.com

Let me give you a fair warning. This website is so comprehensive and full of legitimate jobs that if you didn't find something for yourself, it has to be because you really don't want to work from home. The website is called workersonboard.com . She provides a cornucopia of work-from-home jobs broken down into just about any category you could think of. If you have children that have been bitten by the entrepreneur bug, she even has a section for them to earn their own money. If you want to get the latest information on new job postings as soon as they come out, I totally encourage you to subscribe to her YouTube channel. She keeps you informed of any changes and updates from companies, new jobs and  tips and tricks to get the highest amount of pay you can earn.
Armed with certain jobs, hands-down, this website saved my life during a time when I needed to supplement my income the most. I have yet to come in contact with another bona fide work-from-home site that could even compare to workersonboard.com. If you don't believe me, then don't click the link. If you are among the many hundreds of thousands of people searching for legitimate opportunities to work from home for well-known companies, I encourage you to give this site a try.
